Game Recap

The Owls traveled to our crosstown rivals to take on the Seckman Jaguars. This game was intense from the opening whistle until the horn blew at the end. Both teams were similar in playing styles so the game was end to end non-stop action. Although the Owls were able to get in their opponents defensive end, they struggled to get shots on target. The score would be 0-0 for most of the game, until Javier Zaragoza was able to break the deadlock with less than 5 minutes to play. Hunter Metteer slotted a pass for Javier to run on to. The Seckman keeper hesitated and Javier was able to calmly place the ball in the back of the net for 1-0 lead. The Owls would go into defensive mode for the rest of the game to keep the victory. Jared Tanner made 8 saves. Final Score 1-0. (9-9)
